The challenge is to find the following details by using the images provided

  • 1️⃣ Name the band & song 🎸
  • 2️⃣ Find the locations Shown here 📍
  • 3️⃣Give the timestamp from the clip for each ⏱
The challenge

1). How did I found the band name and the song? 🔎

First, I paid my attention to the first image, I opened the image in a new tab and ran a reverse “Yandex” image search using “Search by image” chrome extension. I found a similar image result quickly. Yandex gave me the Band name along with Wikipedia link to the Band page.

Yandex search result

So the Band name is “Dead south” and the song name is “In Hell, I’ll Be in Good Company

That’s it I found the Band name and The song.

2). How I got the Timestamps ⏱

The next challenge is to provide the time stamps for each clip. So I navigated to the youtube and searched for the song. then I opened each image side by side with the video and match each image with the time frames of the video.

time stamps

I got the timestamps also.

  • 2:31
  • 1:51
  • 1:55
  • 3:22

3). How did I found the location 🗺

This is the Hardest Part of the challenge, I inspected the first image for hints, so I gather some pieces of information from it.

image 01

on the right side, I saw a mobile number from a poster and left side I was able to see a tower, a Sign that indicates letter p in green background, street name, and banners.

first, I did a reverse phone number lookup by using the mobile number that got from the poster. I used thatsthem.com to find the details of the mobile number.

mobile number lookup

I was able to get a company name from the mobile number. I found a Town called “Oakville”. So I did a google search about “Oakville”

it gave me this result

google result

“Oakville” is Town of Canada, and this band is also a Canadian band, That confirms this Shot in Canada.

Then I searched Google for the Green banner, I used “municipal parking” as my keyword. I got a result named “Green P Carpark”. The banner also Green and the result I got “Green P Carpark”.

So next I searched for Banner called “Jerk Spot” with the street name got from the road sign “Baldwin Street”. So I got this result

map result

Hmm, I got the Jerk Spot’s Location. and I was able to see the Green P car park is also located near the Jerk Spot. interesting….😊

I inspected the location and put a dropped pin in the Steet View.
